Climate Change is a major concern for the entire world. We are observing changes all around us in terms of uncertain weather, heat waves, rising sea levels, air quality index, and the impact on our personal health.
Read this article and share how all the STEM disciplines are interwoven in this pressing concern in the link shared below.

Our homes have either tiles or marble or wooden flooring. We go to our building complex or amenities area and the flooring changes to maybe carpet or concrete. We go to the road and the footpath may have paver block or concrete. Keep travelling across the world and you will observe that the flooring is dependent on the climate, economy, and government regulations.
Have you ever asked yourself, 'Why is marble used in homes but not on the roads? 'Why are tiles used for a dance floor different from tiles used on the walls? Which materials make some of the tiles so glossy and some so matte?
If not, then it is time to do so as you use this day in and day out and knowing the strength of the flooring in your homes or workplace or study space allows you to make maximum utilization.
I am sharing a STEM Lesson Plan 'Let's redesign our floors'. Do through the lesson plan and evaluate it using a rubric either designed by you or from the internet.
Post that, start thinking of how this lesson could be integrated into your teaching topics.
Sonam Wangchuk used simple STEM learning to make homes that maintained a temperature of +18 degrees Celsius when the temperature outside was measured as -18 degree Celsius.

Imagine you are traveling solo on your vacation in your car. You wish to soak in nature and feel refreshed. You are en route to a forest to calm yourself and tune yourself with nature. While you are driving, you hear some funny sounds in your car and it breaks down. You seek your mobile to call for the nearest help but there is no network. There is not a soul in sight but you do not panic because you know what to do.
Share your plan of action and the skills you will exhibit to reach your location in the Padlet either as a voice message or a paragraph.
